You might want to avoid that SSD. I think it's gotten a bit of a bad rep and seems to have very rapid performance degradation.

I would recommend going with a UD3H-BK or a Z97-A.

I can't recommend you a case because I don't know what's visually appealing to you, so spend the rest of that on the case by using PCPP sort by price and limiting it to the remainder of your budget after selecting a board.

You should probably decide on these things by yourself since they're fairly important, rather than taking the suggestion of "some guy on the internet"

My Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jdt6P6

Also feel free to suggest parts :)

My 1st Build so take it easy :)

Budget: No more than $1000 (Not including monitor, keyboards, mouse, etc.)

it was pretty good...suggested motherboard support SLI and i swaped the SSD for something much better that won't cost much more...

The build is entirely color coordinated and also i picked ram that will actualy fit with the big tower heatsink ;)

Also i picked a much better powersupply for you...the corsair CX are lame.

This is what I'd do. You don't need an optical drive in this day an age. You can install your OS with a flash drive.
