Seasonic Snow Silent

Working on a dream machine build

The Seasonic Snow Silent PSUs are now available.  I was going to go with the Seasonic 1200W platinum (Newegg price $210 - $30 mail in rebate).  Question is do I go for the 1200W Platinum (SS-120XP) or the Snow Silent 1050W?

If you want one of the best power supplies I would look at the Antec High Current Pro Platinum.

The 850W is plenty - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcp850platinum

Having said that, the 1300W is only $1 more than the 850W after rebate, although there is only 2 left apparently at this price.

I had to call it.  I went with the latest technology since I really don't need more than 1050W.  Some of the reviews showed that you can actually get 1200W out of the 1050W Snow Silent anyways.

Another part on its way for what I hope will be a cool looking build... ;)

First time I managed to score new technology the first day it was available
