The 24 pin got loose when i removed the graphics card... Sorry for wasting you time, I just paniced when my pc didnt boot. Im sure you willl understand :P

or do you mean the system was off and the psu was just in the on position. If so that probably wont fry the system. Make sure you dident bump the 8 pin or 24 pin in the process, maybe there loose. Also make sure your power button is acutally working.

 

get a screw drivers and short out the 2 pins that the PWR button plugs into

I think he meant the power cord was plugged in and the switch was on. Or maybe not, We'll see.

The computer was not on. The switch was just in the on state

 

That shouldn't have caused any problems, I've done it many times. Have you tried switching back to the 280X?
