you cannot plug USB into a USB internal header without using a special adapter.

Not sure what you are trying to ask...

 

if it is how you could plug the usb 3 header into your mobo, you would just have to get a usb 2.0 header to 3.0 header adapter, the ports would only operate at 2.0 speeds though.
