I need a new keyboard, and VERY picky

Go to solution Solved by STRMfrmXMN,

Basically the cheap 10$ keyboards i've been using all this time > 100$ fancy key keyboards with those plutonium plastic glues inside of them?

Well, no. Cherry switches are made with EXTREME care, I mean, EXTREME care.

+1 for tech syndicate!

All those switches look like they have so much flimsy small parts that break; I'll stick to my plastic ones that last forever.

Note: the only key that's "Broken" is my space bar's "spring" I think (Sometimes the space bar doesn't come all the way up so i have to double tap or it)

Those switches are made of German engineering. Not gonna break anytime soon. It's a one-in-a-million occurrence that a Cherry switch itself actually fails.

And if your space bar isn't springing up anymore, it's probably not latched on properly and just needs a re-seat of the key.

EDIT: I GTG but keep on responding and I'll keep getting back to ya!

Thank you for all the responses, some health ed esque gifs (can't help but think of sexual thoughts when looking at the gifs on your keyboard post); but I'll stick to my rubber keys for now! If somebody wants to convert me, you'll have to take the johavas witness approach!
