So basicely I've decided that I want to build a new gaming pc. Unlike my old PC I figured that I want to watercool the processor with a pre filled water cooler (like the corsair H(i) series or something).

But I have a few questions that I'll be thankfull for if they get answered.

1. What type of watercooling should I buy? You have the H(i) series from corsair but also a lot of watercoolers from cooler master . And is a radiator like the corsair h80I enough or does it really get a lot cooler using something like a H100?

2.There's one more thing im worried about: where should I install the radiator? If I put it in front wouldn't heat the HDD'S? And if I put it above sucking air in wouldnt it mess up the airflow?

Sincerely

I  would get a corsair h110 witch is a 280mm rad and i would mount it in the front so the cpu gets fresh air

What case do you have?

Something like the H105 is a good cooler and will do well with any CPU. The H80i is good, but I'd recommend a 240mm rad or more for better temps when overclocking.

Most of the time it's best to have the radiator in the top, exhausting air out of the case. That way, you're not bringing hot air into the case.

1) the bigger the better. Sizing performance goes like this:

120mm<140mm<240mm (2x120)<280mm (2x140)<360mm (3x120)

You should choose the biggest size that fits in the case you are getting.

2) I would need to know what case it is, so that I can tell you which size fits where.

About 100 euros (about 125 dollars)

I'm problaby putting a Sapphire R9 290x in there, and that card is huge (305mm)

For storage an SSD and 1 or 2 HDD'S

And ofcourse an atx motherboard

The colours I like are mostly black

Take a look at corsair, phanteks, and NZXT cases, they are pretty good.

I'd recommend a Vengeance C70 for a case but I'm biased on that as I have one,lol (running two 240 rads with alot of room in the case still)

But the H105/110i should work well if not the Swiftech H220x

Get the Nepton 280L if your case is big enough. It's a massive radiator that performs on par with H110, and in my country it's about €50 cheaper. It has a bit of a strange tube design that some may not like, but if you're that hell bent on minor aesthetics, then whatever.
