Hello everyone! I have a question for all of you today. I just recently got a new phone the other day, and it has some features that my old phone didn't, but it was also missing some that the old one did that i liked  and used regularly. So that got me thinking, and i was trying to think about what the perfect phone would be. My question to all of you is, what would your perfect phone be? What things would you want it to do?

Maybe you want a good quality phone at a low price with only the essentials but that still looks nice. Or maybe you want a phone packed full of hardware, or just a thicker phone with a large battery, rather than these stupidly thin phones with no battery life that we get all the time now.

Let me know what you look for in a phone, and what your dream phone would be like. Thanks! :)

Some things to consider:
-Battery life
-Display type and resolution
-Camera
-Processor and ram
-Voice control
-Infrared (if you use it)
-Size
-Storage
-Locked/Unlocked
-Speakers
-Build quality
-Etc.

Just a normal guy with a constant desire to modify everything he owns.

htc one m8 (which i have now) with the camera from iphone 6+, bigger screen with smaller bezels in the same body, volume/power buttons from the iphone, stock android, and unscratchable glass on cameras.

I don't always have time to study, but when I do, I don't.

This if the speakers could be the same with the smaller bezels, or maybe same screen with smaller bezels. Oh, and a less slippery back, maybe like that feel on the G3.

My dream phone is a niche device, but it is as follows:

Display: 5-5.5” Transparent Amoled backed with a E-Ink display(that would have a backlight). I would want to toggle between the two displays. If its 5” then 720p would be fine, but if its 5.5” then 1080p(The E-Ink could be 720p with either size).

Processor: X86-64 based, preferably quad core. Something like the Intel Atom Z3740 would work fine, but I would want a processor that uses less power.

Ram: 2-4Gb DDR3, at least 1600Mhz This would be shared with the iGPU so the more the better, but I am fine with 2Gb.

Battery: roughly 4000mAh. All I'd want is to make it through a full day, but would only need 5-6 hours of on screen time.

Storage: 64-128Gb with micro SD expansion. For the primary storage I'd want it to be fast(not desktop SSD fast, but close).

Camera: 8-16mp rear facing camera with a decent lens and OIS. No front facing camera though. A dedicated camera button would be nice as long as it doesn't blur the image like most of them do.

Sound: Bottom facing speakers would be fine, as long as alerts/messages can be heard. Decent Amp/Dac for headphones.

Wireless: GSM, so UMTS, HSPA+, and LTE(would want it to support AWS with both HSPA+ and LTE). A decent wireless N solution, but with dual band. Qi and NFC are also necessary(yet would be unused, lol)

External design: No larger or smaller than the Galaxy Note 2, and preferably the same shape. I would want a plastic unibody(preferably white) and a black glass screen. I would want capacitive buttons(menu, home, back) with a backlight, but would want an option to disable the backlight(while keeping the keys active). I would want the home key to be shaped like a circle but with a RGB backlight so it can act as a notification LED. The power/lock and volume up/down placement is fine on the GN2, so I would want that.

Other key features: Micro HDMI. USB OTG with a 1amp output. Small barrel plug style of connector for charging(I want to bring this back lol). Dual SIM with both slots fully unlocked. I would also want a unlocked bootloader, but one that would allow me to install full windows and Ubuntu(or any OS for that matter). I would want a oleophobic coating on the display and a hydrophobic coating to protect the internals. Glance screen from Windows phone with the active display from the Moto X. Primarily I'd want it to run Android(either Kit Kat or Lollipop), but multibooting as well(to fully take advantage of the unlocked bootloader).
