I always think its weird when people say those norwegian and swedish prisons are so unfair etc.

The thing with a prison in a democratic country is that its meant to take your freedom and protect others (if you are dangerous). So they perform this task quite well. And you dont even know, maybe this kind of prison is the cheaper one, because theres less fighting going on inside or something like that.

Maybe theres some really desperate people around the world who would go there just for the food etc, but that does not mean that our prisons have to be like during the middle ages.

 

This. Prison should be about rehabilitation and trying to turn people away from crime, not just punishing them in a stone cold cell. What would that achieve?

i wouldnt last 1 month in prison so its probably gonna be the same thing for me. that being said id rather have the leathal injection than getting shanked by some pablo
