I've been using it for a whole 10 minutes. It's definitely a departure from Gmail.. not sure if for the better or worse

Oh no. it's totally fine    I just had invites and nothing to do with them. It's definitely really overwhelming. Used it for about 10 minutes and I'm still getting used to it.

Hmm it's different for sure. Bad? I can't say. Once you quickly figure everything out, which isn't to hard, it's actually not a bad organizer.

Simple done button when you're done. Snooze, if you wanna deal with it later. Separate options if you want to move it else where. 

 

 

 

There is still previous functionality and general graphical changes. I'm going to replace it with my gmail for now, so I can really see if it serves me better.

 

Edit: Certain layout changes are definitely a plus. Some buttons use to be hidden under other sections. For example "contacts" is now under main menu as well.

 

Hangouts across the top no longer taking up screen space. Not that it really bothered me, but it's just there when you need it.

 

Edit: Though, no I'm not sure how to delete things forever, and not just in trash. It doesn't seem to give me the option in trash to delete forever. *starts looking*
