Also, it's "jiff" not "gif". The creator apparently thinks it stands for "giraffing interchange format" and not "graphic interchange format".

Well to be honest, I think we should spell those words like that because that's how we say them, Americans should spell them the way we do because they say them like we spell them, if that makes any sense.

I speak in my own dialects . I pronounce everything differently. It bugs my friends, such as Bagels (Buguls) etc not by choice either it is just how I speak.

Well, everyone's different so it doesn't really matter, unless you pronounce a word so differently that nobody knows what you're trying to say. LOL

But personally, I might be Canadian, but I learned english through the use of the Internet and TV, mixed British and American english, I had never heard of "deckle", to me it was always "deekal"
