Currently I installed a second 7970 and it worked fine. But the top GPU gets very hot 78c on unigine heaven benchmark. How can I make my bottom GPU to become the primary GPU? The bottom one has much better airflow (120 mm blowing on it). I tried switching over the monitor cables but it would not display anything on it.

The top one is ALWAYS the primary one. Also 78C is not very hot at all

During the run the GPU peaked at around 82c

How's your airflow in your case?

 

That plays a major part on keeping the cards cool.

How's your airflow in your case?

 

That plays a major part on keeping the cards cool.

I would say the air flow is decent. I have a front 140mm intake and bottom intake and side panel exhaust and back exhaust and a 240mm radiator at the top
