Hey guys, I was wondering if the parts I chose are half decent. I'm not entirely sure on the PSU, Mobo or Sound Card. Any suggestions of alternatives are welcome :)

Thanks!

You could go with the cheaper cx600 instead for a psu--or any good ~600w bronze psu for that matter.

It looks solid but you could do with a cheaper motherboard without losing any noticeable performance.

Well the reason why I chose that particular PSU is because is has a blue lighting effect to go with the heat sinks on the Mobo.

Don't buy an optical drive and use the extra monies for a higher quality, modular psu.

Wouldn't change anything else. Very nice.

Doesn't the Windows install come on a disc? If it doesn't then I'll spend the money elsewhere.

Out of interest would you have chosen a WD drive had they not been on all the Computex videos?

I would have chosen them regardless. I never really watched the Computex videos which had WD in them.

Also thanks everyone for giving feedback. I appreciate it :)

Nice thing about the psu. I didn't know that.

You can install Windows via usb.

WDCaviars /Seagate barracudas are both great.  I recommend Pick whichever is cheapest at the time.

Oh yeah, Completely forgot about that. I'll see what I can do with that extra cash :)

I would get one of the newer nzxt cases, since that one is very outdates and lacks some features you may want (usb 3)

Maybe the 820, 630 or switch 810?

Yes, the Windows .iso does come on a disk. But you can get that .iso anywhere and then use your flash drive to install Windows. It's that code on the package you pay the $99 for.

Take a look at some guides. It's pretty easy to do and I think it makes for a faster install.

Oh, I didn't notice that about the case. Thanks for the heads up :) I'll change over to the Phantom 410.

Ah, That's pretty cool. I'm guessing using a virtual drive (Like MagicDisc) wouldn't work. I might just keep the Drive for when I want to play watch a DVD or something.
