ok so i want to game, edit (sony vegas, and after effects) and stream/game capture with my new build. Im focused mainly on the gaming aspect but editing and streaming are inportant to me. I know that the 8350 is better for streaming but if i went with an intel system couldnt i always get a avermedia(or whatever its called)?. I currently have a Saphire 7970 and i would be willing to spen up to $750 bucks on the cpu the mobo and the memory alone So my question is what cpu would best fit my needs

i7 4770K - $350

MSI Z87-GD65 - $190

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) - $170

Total: $710

That's what I suggest anyway. There's bound to be better options, but I'd still go with an Intel i7.

You could always get more memory (which will help with rendering) or a better motherboard with the remaining $40.

i disagre with this because you don't gonna render with your cpu if you have a AMD gpu that is insanly fast with OpenCL render options so that is a no

i7 is not needed if he stream in 720p 16gb ram is good but i perfer ram speed above how the ram looks like if you have a budget and mainboard is the most important part of a whole pc never cheap out on it

I just suggested Intel because he wanted to use "Avermedia". The FX-8350 is definitely better for rendering especially for its price. And as for the ram, I actually thought I was looking at the 2133 Mhz one so I'll edit that. The motherboard isn't cheap either though. I just don't think he needs to spend so much on a higher end motherboard for features he doesn't need. As long as it supports the ram I guess. Up to the original poster though.
