GTA V AMD or Nvidia?

Hello which pick you think is better for GTA V? I hear rumors about GTA V supporting mantle, but for some reason i think it will use various Nvidia's features.

everything is a rumor.

even if it runs better on a certain brand, that doesn't render the other brand useless for playing the game.

Well its just a rumor and GTA will be out real soon, so i doubt it

Well apparently you have never seen ubisoft with assassins creed. I believe it went along the lines of "Quick, lets blame amd because nvidia card can't run the game". And amd couldn't run it as well.

Well lets hope GTA V Doesn't turn into another ACU, but based on what Rockstar said and the 4K Support i expect it to be a somewhat decent port.

Well, hopefully it will be a good port and run well on both AMD and Nvidia. Apparently the same team that worked on Max Payne 3 is working on the PC GTA V, and that's considered a very good port.

We don't really have any way of knowing yet. Wit for the game to come out, then buy your new gpu. Besides, mantle ot nvidia features don't impact performance THAT much (save poorly implemented physx) so if you get a good card you won't be disappointed.

Well u probably right, but after Ubisoft screwing up 2 of they're latest games, i'm getting paranoid for games that are not out yet.

If the rumors about mantle are true than AMD may be better, since a huge open world game like gta will be quite cpu intensive. best bet will be to wait for benchmarks though.

Think of it this way: if it isn't out yet, it might as well not exist at all for what concerns you. Only consider buying a game when it's already out and has had good reviews

Depends on what you want? Mantle being a 'good feature' depends on the game. In many games the difference in performance of Mantle and DX11 is close to none. Also Nvidia features are great, some have drawbacks like PhysX in many games is unusable due to how much it tanks performance.. (Assassin's Creed IV and Unity.)
