Still running a GT610 for the longest time, but what just now surprised me that it wasn't Kepler. It was FERMI

sure a use a GTX780 that i bought for roughly 300$ (it was a trade + money deal with my HD7950 + 100$ :P) and it's still going strong my card has an overclock to it and it compete fairly well with a GTX970 from the benchmark results that i get so no intentions on upgrading that until they launch the ''big maxwell'' cards or anything that will be a worthy upgrade to it...basicaly run all games maxed out except AA in some cases.

Got this 780. Ordered it when it launched, and I REQUIRE MOAR FRAMES. Every time a game drops down to like 57 FPS, I notice it. Can't have that.

try to mess around with some settings...a 780 defenetly cant max out any games at 1080p but it can ALWAYS run ultra settings with slightly lower anti-aliasing...also use Nvidia control panel to adjust settings further more...i always get away with playing ultra settings at roughly 60fps...and yes just like you i do notice when i get 57fps my eyes are trained enough and any time i check the framerate monitor because i feel a slight lag i'm always right on, it's like ''ok now i get 55 FPS'' i check and i do get 55FPS...i'm glad i'm not the only one to be like that :)

also what i found to be helping a lot with smoothness in the framerates is to cap my FPS at 65 with MSI afterburner...i cant tell you why maybe it's just my monitor that is like that but playing BF4 with uncapped framerate is a mess and when i cap to 65FPS i get butter smooth rendering...also i tried 60FPS and i got screen tearing all over the place...so defenetly give that a try and i would like you to report the results if possible.

I want to move up, but there is simply nothing really except for going with duals- which I don't really want to do ATM, so I am stuck with my lonely 780 ti.

for anybody with 780/290 performance class there is No viable upgrade path yet, which is Ok since they still work great. 780ti is beast Anyway- You may as well hold onto it until 2016, even if faster cards do Come out.

1440p really kills the card though, so it ain't going to be in my rig until 2016.

without AA?

With, I tend to go to 2x but it would be nice to 4x. Its hard for me to keep a solid 50fps in BF4 without 2x msaa and mesh and post on High not ultra.   Game still looks good.

Yes, Maxwell is like 2 months old (not counting 750) :P

I'll be keeping my 760 for a looooong time. It's a beast for 1080p.

Same here.

I'm running an EVGA 670FTW. I originally bought a used regular EVGA 670 which was DOA, had to send it to Germany, EVGA was great and sent me back a better card.

That was the beginning of this year and still going strong.

Saving for a 970 or maybe 980 though.

I also had the  evga 670FTW and at some point, it went bad, maybe due too much Overclocking or something.... anyway,  I sent it back for a replacement,  the replacement card they sent me, worked for a little while and it also went bad.   So!  At this  point, I was upset and I made my feeling clear to evga via e-mail.  The second replacement  card they sent me,  was an EVGA 670SC 4GB edition with backplate and all,  so far (knock on wood) has been working flawlessly.   But I do want to upgrade to the 970 or 980 at some point to use nvidia's DSR feature which makes games look fantastic and to also  run future games at full 4k @ 60fps.

EVGA truly rules when it comes to customer service,  I will only buy evga for my next upgrade.

oh!  I almost forgot,  I also have an EVGA 460 (Fermi)  for emergency use only...LOL!!!  it can still handle plenty for an old timer.

I'll try setting framerate target in Precision X to 65
