Hi i'm upgrading my system at the minute I have a 600w Storm PSU however it's cheap and i doubt efficient for my upcoming upgrade I have looked at several power calculators designed for PC's it says my future build will be consume around 433 Watts, is this right?

 

(Looking to buy a Corsair PSU)

 

CPU:  Intel I5-3470

GPU: Msi GTX-970

Motherboard: MSI B75A-G43

RAM: Corsair vengeance 8GB

1HDD

1SSD

1CD Rom

a CX600 should be good enough for that build. Plus, they can be had for fairly cheap nowadays

Why are you looking for a Corsair psu they don't make any of them just slap a label on them

No they're not. They're rebranded from the best, like Seasonic and Flextronics. Meaning Seasonic, Flextronics and the likes are the best, not Corsair.

What why. Most of the companies that sell PSUs do the same thing as corsair... why are you mad about it?

 

You're assuming corsair only make good products which is completely untrue and no only their "top end" PSUs use a decent OEM a Good half of those are very low quality units. Don't be a fanboy it makes no sense.

I'm not assuming anything. They do make good products, but they are not all good. And about their top end PSU, I don't really care what OEM they use, as long as there is the  7 year warranty I'm happy. Also, all I said is they make a cool label, right there I'm not saying they make their psus...
