Using a controller

Ok so I bought a £6 USB thing to allow me to use my wireless XBOX controller on PC. At the time I bought it just for GTA but recently I'm playing more games with my controller than my keyboard and mouse. I'm currently using it for GTA, Just cause 2, AC3 and Hitman Absolution. Does anyone else find that these games are better on controllers?

Yeah, I usually choose controller over keyboard and mouse. 

 

Games like GTA and Just Cause 2 I can only play with controller.

i bought the same thing few years ago JUST because i was stuck in one of the tombs in AC2 (the one you jump on the wall) and im using it since then helps a lot in AC games

I use a controller for 3rd person games like AC and just cause 2. It's slightly more natural. AC is actually really difficult with a mouse and keyboard

I play sports and racing games using controller.

I only use a controller for FIFA 13 and racing games. I prefer to use keyboard and mouse even for third person.

I use a controller for games like AC and sports games usually. Sometimes car games as well, but sometimes I'm lazy to plug it in for that.

I play quite a few PC games with a controller.  

 

I played Assassins's Creed, The Witcher 2, both Darksiders games, Hitman Absolution, and Sleeping Dogs.

 

 

I actually prefer the controller for most games that don't involve a lot of aiming.  I could never play a first-person-shooter with a controller though.

I only use the keyboard and mouse for shooters and RTS games. The rest I'm all controllers

Controllers are a nice thing sometimes for PC gaming. I find it stupid when people arguing that consoles are better use them as a reason why. You can use them on PC's also.

For first person games I like keyboard and mouse better because I can turn faster and control the speed of my turns better than with a controller, for just about every other game I like a controller better.

 

I just played through mirrors edge again first using a controller then again with the keyboard and mouse, I felt it was much better using the keyboard and mouse.

I prefer most of the games you mentioned with keyboard and mouse except GTA(because I have it on xbox not on pc ;p) and Just Cause, i feel it flows and moves a little smoother with a controller, shooting is weird in Just Cause and i really don't like it with mouse and keyboard.

I only use my controller for emu, racing sims, and fighting games.
