Extreme FPS Drop (Bandicam Need Help)

Hey everybody as you have read in the title i am encountering huge fps dropage in bandicam while recording games!

The game i am recording is garrys mod on steam  :) a brilliant game!

I do reviews on games on youtube and tutorials on how to's and other stuff but recently i have just upgraded my old very OLD

Nvidia 8400gs!

I have now got a gtx 550ti im not sure if these tempatures are average but this is in idle mode (check the attatchments)

im not sure if this is a problem but i might as well say as the graphics card fan is facing down right under neath is a 5.1 sound card

im not sure if this is creating heating problems hopefully someone can tell me

any way i have been comparing my results while recording garrys mod

My results

Fps non recording: 55-65 Ultra settings

Fps recording: 8fps  :( why so low!) Ultra settings

Friends results

Fps non recording 60-65fps

List of what you need to record with ideal results

-core i5/FX 8320 or better (very important)

-SSD (very important)

-separate HDD/SSD for games and for recording

-decent graphics card, ideally gtx 560 ti or higher.

His friend's PC isn't much better...

I would try using FRAPS if you can, see if that helps.

Area 51 2014. Intel 5820k@ 4.4ghz. MSI X99.16gb Quad channel ram. AMD Fury X.Asus RAIDR.OCZ ARC 480gb SSD. Velociraptor 600gb. 2tb WD.

Don't worry, I have the solution to your problem. I had the exact same FPS drop as you and my PC is very similar. I will get strait to the point. DISABLE AERO!!!! this will bring your FPS back up to 40-50 maybe even 60. Your welcome in advance.

PS. If you encounter anyone else having this problem please share their solution with them.

Also, (I forgot to mention) if you use "Rectangle on screen" instead of "DirectX/OpenGL window" You will also increase an insane amount of FPS. With both of the methods I posted on here you should be able to record any game you could normally play without recording. Once again, Welcome in advance.
