Thinking of getting a GTX 770 but with AMD offering added game bundles, Its really influencing my decision was going to go with a GTX but AMD Cant Be That Bad Can It? So my question is, what amd gpu is the same as a gtx 770

An hd 7970 ghz edition has similar performance to a gtx 770.

The GTX 770 is a rebrand (with updated firmware) of the GTX 680, which is the equivalent of the HD 7970. You will generally see pretty similar performance between the two.

The HD 7970 GHz is the equivalent of the GTX 770, If not; slightly better.

If it were my money I'd get a 7950 because it's way better bang for the buck than both, then I'd get another one when they fix the crossfire framerating problem or just use the money on something else. That said if you really need that tiny bit of extra performance, 7970 is definitely the better deal, if you're lucky you might be able to push it above GHz Edition performance since they're just different bins of the same GPU.
