Ethernet question

Go to solution Solved by pants18,

yup, should not be a big deal. connect all the cables and if your computer doesn't detect a LAN connection (mine didn't at first either) then reboot and it should auto detect the new system and provide network access

hey Linus community

I just have one question for you today

I have recently installed Ethernet in my house for my new pc (which I get on Monday). When I set up my router I set it to wifi. Do I need to reconfigure it so I can plug Ethernet into the back of it?

Thanks

Should basically be plug and play for ethernet, no settings should be in need of changes.
