Hi guys I am looking for a good Logitech gaming mouse to go with the new Logitech Orion spark I am saving up for. I had a 500s but the wire broke on it somehow. I want another one but I'm not sure if I should get another because the last one broke. Although people say that it lasts forever and never fails unless you make the wrong move with it and blah blah blah. But anyways tell me what you guys think I really want to know. Also if Linus is reading this right now can you please make another video on the 500s as the one that is now posted doesn't really tell you much besides the specs. I saw you've done a G19s or whatever keyboard outside but brought it in to show how the program on the key binds work. If you could do something like that it would be awesome. Thanks linustechtips!

The Logitech g502 is the highest end. Its not for everyone because its a little on the heavy side even without any additional weights and some people don't like the metal scroll wheel. But it has the best sensor bar none. Also, all modern Logitech mice have these super heavy duty cable connectors.Logitech-G502-Proteus-Core-underside.jpg

If you want a palm grip i would recommend the G600. it feels so good.

Others feel better in my opinion and that one has its issues. Also I believe razer does a better man mouse.

My recommendations would be G502 or G402. Between those two it's all personal preference since they are very similar.

The G502 is taller but skinnier and a bit more ergonomic but it quite hefy even with all weights out. The G402 is flatter and wider and is also one of the lightest logitech mice I've used. The buttons a bit small a slightly harder to press, especially the ones to the left of your index finger. The "sniper" button however is much better.

The G302 is a great recommendation for people that use claw grip and don't use the side buttons much while gaming.

The G602 is a great ergonomic option and is wireless. It however has a limited non interpolated dpi selection. I would also suggest swapping out the alkaline AA's for energizer Ultimate lithium ones to substantially reduce the weight.

The G700s is a great highly ergonomic NiMH rechargeable wireless mouse. The only real downside it has is its laser sensor. This is one of my favorite ever mice. I suggest getting a 4 pack of envelop pro's and a charger for it if your going to game a ton. Maybe a 2 PA k and a single batter charger if that's less of a concern.

It's called strain relief and is the best of any manufacturer currently. I wish my G402 has the scroll wheel from the G502, or at least the G302. for me that's the G402's biggest let down and the only one besides not having a button behind the scroll wheel. All of logitech newer mic have great sensors. I think that one and the fusion engine are just marketing gimmicks. The only one that is a bit of a let down is the G602 because it has a very small list of non interpolated dpi even though it uses the same main sensor as the G402.

G502 for sure. Not as heavy as people say it is unless u are used to play with mouse under 90g, only then the 120g+ mouse could feel too heavy.

Whell is harder to press but metal finish is just fine.

Design is spot on imho :) <3

without weights its up with the G700s with a battery in. For a wired mouse, especially one with a weight system it is indeed quite heavy. When my G402 came in the weight difference was definitely noticeable.

I have decided. Even though the g502 is cool my friend happened to have one and let me borrow it for a weekend. I didn't like as much and ended up gaming with my $12 optical mouse. I liked the feel to the g500s so I am just "upgrading" it to the g700s as the mouse to go along with my keyboard. Thank you all for all your tips and support.
