This is interesting, please explain.

So, i got minecraft on my toshiba today.

(Core 2 Duo T6400, 4500MHD, 4GB RAM, ubuntu 13.10 64-bit). When I play minecraft on all low, I get 20FPS on average. But when I max it out to full eye candy sweetness, it still stays at 20FPS average. I played and stuff but saw no change in frame rate compared to all low.

Decided to be ballsy and play a 1080p youtube video in the background. Still no change in frame rate.

Explanation pls?

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.

i have an A10 4600m at 2.3 GHz has a 7660G integrated in there. (and scince this is an APU i guess ram is also important, 6 gigs 800 mhz laptop memory)

on low render distance all the rest maxed out settings i get 30-46 FPS

max render i get into the quad digets.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
