So maybe I'll get a monitor stand from my parents, because they are awesome and my monitors are set up very ghetto-like.

Anyways, so I was looking at monitor stands and had a few questions.

1. I looked up the specs of both my monitors and saw they both have 100x100mm (10x10 cm) mounting points.

Does this mean any stand suited for 24" monitors and 100x100mm mounting points will work?

One of my monitors is 22" and the other is 24".

2. I might want to add a third display to my setup later, I don't really want to buy a different monitor stand by than, so could I use a stand for 3 monitors with only 2?

Will that look terrible, but more important: Is it possible, or is the weight not spread out equally?

3. This is probably different from stand to stand, but is it easy to rotate the monitors? Like, angle them differently?

Also, this differs from stand to stand too, but how big are the feet of these stands?

I was looking for a monitor stand with a feet, not one I have to mount  to my wall or something. My desk is plenty big for it.

You can get a triple stand and not use the center mount till you need it, just slide your other two monitors together till then.

1. VESA mounts are not standard between sizes some companies may use a 75mm on a 22" or a 100mm on a 24", but you shouldn't assume both monitors would have the same mount especially between different brands.

2. Weight would need to distributed evenly on a bar that can houses three monitors and there will be a large space between the two monitor.

3. Most stands are able to angle, but not rotate as you're limited on horizontal space with a filled triple monitor stand. Triple monitor stand have a large base to evenly distribute weight that three monitors would have on the desk.

I (already) looked up both my displays and they both have 100x100mm mounting points.

Point 2 and 3 sound logical.. Unless I get a really good deal for another monitor or something weird, I won't go for a stand I think :/

Might wonna look into it a bit more. Weight wont make a difference if they are offset from the center just a tad. My triple stand can have two monitors without a gap. The stands foot print is small as well, 12" x 12", I also have it in a clamp version for when I have to switch between tables.
