I have my g502 for about 3 months now and my previous mouse was a crappy cheap a4tech one and i had trouble switching because i was used to a super light mouse but since you will come from a DA you'll have no issue's with the weight. Software wise its great for me, simple and just works and my only complaint will be the scroll wheel getting slightly chipped in time. Its not noticable from a normal sitting point, you've got to really get a close look at it to see it

No problem, i don't use a palm type grip, first i thought i could palm it but my hands were too big u use a half palm half claw? if that makes any sense to you haha

I changed from DA to G502, no learning curve because G502 fits perfectly in hand even better than DA so my skill in CS:GO stayed the same.

I play LoL but havent played enough to rebind my mouse key. One i can tell u for sure, if u dont use palm grip then u wont be ablr to press "sniper button". Same as me because i use claw grip.

Weight wise the mouse is slightly heavier than DA but its such a small difference that i hardly noticed.

With G502 u get 4 more proglamable keys (easily accessable) and if u want to use the sniper button then its 5.

After two days of use i had to unbind "dpi down" button because i would constantly accidentaly hit it.

The free spinning wheel is much fun, sometimes i just play with it haha.

Sir by the way you said you changed from DA to G502, did you face any double click issue on your DA?

well I'm palm grip user

Ooops, got someone else confused for OP haha. Then G502 is for u :) +it looks much cooler than 402 and has aditional weights for it, can be useful in non-fps games.

That's why I start losing confidence on Razer products. Products from 3rd gen onwards seem having problems quite often. sad razer...

After holding G502 the DA felt like a joke really, so plasticy. G502 feels more solid and having ruber on sides is awesome sine my DA doesnt have any.

I dont know anything about 402 but i know that 502 goes on sales wit 30% discount now and then. Amazon had it like that during black friday.

Hi all, I would hear some opinions about Logitech G502 and G402 of gaming experiences. Is it good to use to play Dota2 or it only performs better in FPS games? I'm about to change my Razer DA to either one of these 2 mice. ty

May I ask, if your Deathadder is still going, why get a new mouse? It's a great mouse (if you ignore Razer's inconsistent build quality).

Otherwise, my input on the G502 is this: it is much smaller in width in person than I expected when I first saw it. I have small hands and liked the general feel of it for a palm grip (I use mostly fingertip) and can say it's damn well built. Not a bad mouse whatsoever.

For the G402, although I've never felt one in the hand, I can say that it's not a bad mouse judging on Logitech's reputation and user reviews.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
