R4 alternative

Ok so I'm thinking about ditching my laptop and get a desktop this time, and I can't decide on what case to get. I was planning to get the R4 windowed version, but I'm already about $150 over my budget so I figured getting a cheaper case would be a good start. So my question is, are there any good alternatives to the R4 that are cheaper but don't compromise on performance?

Some good cheap cases: 300r, S340, HAF 912 (if you don't mind the looks), 

 

1. Go to pcpartpicker.com

2. Click case

3. Sort by price

4. Add any other parameters for features you want

5. Find one in your budget that has good ratings

6. Buy it

7. ???

8. Profit
