hello all.

i am looking to purchase a 4690k or 4790k and would like to know what sort of overlocks i can expect. and would like recommendations for which one i should pick. i like to game with the setting up all the way and do a fair amount of video/photo editing with the adobe suite. also i dont want my gtx 970 bottlenecked by the cpu. my current setup is:

cpu: i5 4440 @ 3.1ghz

mobo: msi gaming 5

ram: 8gb kingston hyper x genesis @1866mhz

psu: corsair rm650

case: phanteks enthoo pro

Your current build is plenty strong, you won't get much of an improvement, if any in games going from an i5-4440 to i5-4690k or i7-4790k.  Your current i5 is not bottlenecking your 970.
