Hey all!

I have a Lenovo G510 that currently has 4GB of http://www.centralcomputers.com/ccp81380-s624-s3a-samsung-ddr3-1600-sodimm-4gbmemory-m471b5173qho-yko-memddrsod53r.htm. However, I am trying to dual channel 8 gb. Would I have to buy the exact same stick, or would this be fine? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231702

Thanks!

It is best to get the exact same ram, other ram may work, but may have issues or not work at all. If it has the same latency and clockspeed it will probably work, but it isn't worth it. You link to the other ram is broken FYI.
