Corsair SP 120 Led vs Regular Corsair SP 120 ?

shaazzaarr

Hey Guys,

Hope you're having a great weekend.

I currently have an H100i AIO unit and currently using the 2 stock SP fans which come bundled together.

I got a great deal on the enthoo luxe and decided to upgrade from my carbide 300R.

I would now like to run the AIO in push/pull config...

So I went on amazon uk to see what I could find, to my surprise I see that they now have the SP 120 LED in stock.

The LED fans are actually £5 cheaper than the regular SP 120 with the coloured rings (dual pack).

Now I'm puzzled and dont know which I should go for....

are the LED fans same as the regular non LED fans?

Do they offer less airflow? Why cheaper?

which one should I go for?

This is where you're feedback would be greatly appreciated.

And as always, you guys are awesome.

Thanks.

The LEDs aren't rubber isolated.

I generally try to avoid LED fans when it comes to building a good looking PC, i think that regular fans that are iluminated by seperate LEDs look better.

Other than that, both are meh-quiet. Both perform pretty much the same.

who cares...

I personally like bitfenix spectre pro fans more than wither of those. The difference between the corsair fans is the LEDs and that thee LED model doesn't have sound dampening  rubber. The follow videos should be useful for you. You should also never forget silverssone air penetrators when shopping for fans.
