Hello,

I want to buy a GFX card and I need price-performance relation as GFX cards are expensive and I won't buy a new one after this. Also I need a new power supply to run it.

My specs:

Mother: ASUS B85-PLUS.

Processor: Intel i7 4770.

I would like to play BF3 on Full (not Ultra) on more than 1280x720 and less than 1920x1080.

Ty in advice.

The gtx 970 g1 gaming is one of the best gpu on the market right now. It's performance is only about 5-10% less then the 980.

Otherwise, get a used 770. People are selling then left and right for low prices.

As cheap as possible, GTX 970 is too expensive as I live in Argentina and everything imported is expensive.

Should I save and buy that one later?

I also need the power supply as the one I've right now is 600W generic.

REMEMBER GUYS, FOR BF3 MAINLY (Think budget focused based on that one game)

1080p Ultra (Full or whatever) isn't that demanding... 5850 OC could almost do that on its own @ 38fps , the 7950/280 easily max's it out past 60fps.

R9 280, or the GTX760 should be able to muster plenty of performance for that game.

Other games, maybe not @ 60fps+, but BF3, easy.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

The 970's a great value. I'd buy one if I had the available cash but I'd want as much VRAM as I could get (which would be more expensive).

R9 270x should be fine you could go cheaper but that's much less performance usually

My 270x does great, but if your picky about keeping fluidity in your framerates when AA is applied, then go further up the chain to the 290, it will last longer for sure.

Or.. The 760 does great as well, but if your picky again....the GTX970 is the pick for Nvidia.

You may not be using 1080p now, but you will eventually, hence why the 290/970.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
