Quite frankly, no.

no because majority of games perform at 30 fps. a 60 hertz monitor will do fine.

The XB1 can't perform at 144hz. It usually can't even perform at 60hz. A standard 1080p 60hz Panel is more than enough.

I don't mean to be rude, so sorry to be blunt but you are stupid if you buy a 144hz monitor for console. Last gen gaming was mostly 30fps, next gen consoles like the XB1 don't even reach 60fps in all games, but they do in some. A decent 1080p monitor of any kind will do you fine. You won't notice any of those extra frames past 60fps because the Xbox isn't good enough. Those 144hz monitors are meant for PCs.

Current PC build: [CPU: Intel i7 8700k] [GPU: GTX 1070 Asus ROG Strix] [Ram: Corsair LPX 32GB 3000MHz] [Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A] [SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB primary + Samsung 860 Evo 1TB secondary] [PSU: EVGA SuperNova G2 750w 80plus] [Monitors: Dual Dell Ultrasharp U2718Qs, 4k IPS] [Case: Fractal Design R5]

Am I the only one who read "XB1" as "original Xbox"?

In either case the answer is the same sadly....

It does raise some eyebrows, doesn't it? I believe he's trolling us.
