okay, so heres how it goes. every desktop in this house is connected to a switch, which is connected to the router, which is connected to the modem. Only my computer is blocked from the internet. i also have no way of getting to the router or switch or modem because its locked in a box (dont ask okay). and i dont know the password for the router bc my dad changed it. changing my mac address does not work.

I need the internet to do a project lol, they dont get that

use your phone as a hotspot, but sounds like your being deliberately blocked. so need to talk to who ever is doing the blocking

Tether your computer to your phone's internet via USB, if its a android.

Otherwise your stuck.

Well you could try changing your MAC address (see Google for answers to that) but if it is setup to use MAC address to allow you'll have to figure out a correct and unused MAC address to copy/use to gain access. Or buy a WiFi card/USB dongle and get the password to the neighbors access point.

you are either being blacklisted at the MAC address level or local ip address level, or (since changing your MAC didn't help) you are blocked by not being on a whitelist of acceptable IPs or MACs, etc.

 

If you know the MAC address of a computer that is working you could try changing your MAC to that other computer... see what happens.

Sorry mate, if your parents are locking your internet out, then there's likely a reason for it. You need to calmly negotiate with them about it. If you feel that your parents are unjustly blocking your internet access, then you need to discuss that with them. Otherwise you probably earned the internet block.

 

In the mean time, go to Starbucks or the local Library, and use their internet and/or computers. If you need to do some school work, there are plenty of avenues for you to use outside of your house.
