Wireless suggestions

Go to solution Solved by Spev,

Hey guys, can any of you recommend a good wireless card or adapter? I'd like for it to be under 50 dollars if possible. I have a wifi adapter, but it only does 150Mbps and I need to install some drivers for my mobo. It said that it was going to take 15 minutes to download them...Thanks!

Hi,

Personally I have this card: http://www.amazon.com/Linksys-Wireless-N-Adapter-Dual-Band-WMP600N/dp/B0028N6VN2 I do use Ethernet now just because I can and ofc wired is always better. I bought this card back in 2011. It still works like a charm although like I said I use Ethernet now but it is still installed in my system. I get great connection to my router which is in the office below my room. I get like 12 ping on games wireless...skype and downloads are also fast and never held back by connection. My connection is 35DL and 15UP which I would consider pretty decent. Anyways basically what I'm trying to say is that with a decent connection I have never experienced anything bad about this card. Installation was a snap and I used it for about almost 3 years when I didn't have access to a wired connection.

Hope this helps you and I would strongly recommend this card from my personal experience.
