New 780

Go to solution Solved by Noct1s,

nothing us running in the background

So I hade a bit of a budget build minus one part

Afx6300 at 4Ghz

GigabyteGA-990FXA-UD3 mobo

8GB of ram 1600Mhz

A Kingston v300 ssd

650w PSU

But I got a gtx 780 from afriend and when I play a game like crysis3 on high settings at 720p even I'm just pushing 50 fps.

He had no trouble with the card doing well beyond this level of performance.

I've tried a fresh copy of windows and I have all the right drivers.

I thinks its probably your CPU causing a bottleneck but I could be wrong. I don't own any of the crisis games so I don't really know how CPU intensive they are.
