I already have 2 60HZ monitors that are the same, i want to create a triple monitor setup running off a GTX 970. Will my setup look strange if i have a new 144HZ monitor in the middle of the two monitors i already have? I was thinking about the different refresh rate, will this affect game play or vision? Thanks

you wont get above 60 FPS in just about anything with one 970, why buy a 144Hz monitor?

Umm... yes he will...

Hell even my 270 can run games like Dirt 3 on high @ 4k pinned at 60fps, which has 25% more pixels than triple 1080p...

High resolution is not even close to being as hard as people think it is. Not being able to switch it to ultra preset and get 60fps does NOT mean you can't run it...

Skyrim on High with AA turned down I get 50-60 fps, BF4 medium I get 50-60fps

How about those games?

(Games like FC4 though I can't run because of the low vram)

If you run all them for gaming they will run at 60 hz together. You can play most games on mid to high setting, just don't use aa as much.

I have played on triple screens for quite awhile now. I have gotten used to the bezel but, I could have got the thinnest ones possible for a bit more money then I would have. Without a doubt. If you prefer single player games more, a single 970 should be find. I quite using my sli set up and have just been using a single card and I am just as happy with it. I only turn the setting down if I feel im at a disadvantage in multiplayer fps games. If a first gen over hyped, over priced titan can do it, no reason the newest gen, so called best cards ever shouldn't be able to do it just as easily.
