Hi Everyone
So I have an USB, and i would like to make it my Windows Backup drive (for if i ever for any reason ruin my or a relatives Windows installation, i can reinstall off it), but the USB has some problems

So it's an 8 Gb usb, but it says that only 3.1Gb is avaible, even though nothing is on the drive. ( It's file system is Fat32.

Do a diskpart. Just be careful that you select the correct drive letter.

Open Command Prompt
Type "diskpart" (without quotes) then hit enter.
Type "list disk" (without quotes) and press enter to see a list of drives connected. Type "select disk=x" (without quotes). Replace "x" with the drive's disk letter. Hit enter.
Type "list partition" (without quotes) and press enter to see a list of the drive's paritions. Type "select partition=x" (without quotes) and press "Enter." ("X" is the partition you wish to select.)
Type "delete partition" (without quotes) and press enter to delete the partition that is currently selected. Once you have deleted it then type exit and hit enter.
