what does x equal?

 

 

here is  another one (sorry)

 

y+1/4y - 5/6y = 1/2

Also seeing the picture now the solution is actually wrong, just misread it from the typing (use brackets plz! they save lives)

Usually with multiple fractions that have pronumerals you want to combine them into one term so that way you can start multiplying the denominator to the other side or do things like cross multiply.
