I specked these out for a few friends

2)http://pcpartpicker.com/user/TheKingofNames/saved/1KUv

Let me know what you think of them. I went with the i3 on the second one because it was the cheapest option and I am still waiting on their final budgets so there may be room to upgrade.

Replace 660 with 7850. Upgrade to 8gigs of ram.

Looks good other than that.

Get a 3570K or a 4670K. I'd also point out that you won't be getting much more GPU performance with a GTX 660 vs. a PS4. I'd also go with 8GB or RAM for gaming. It's the general norm, plus the new consoles have 8GB so you don't want to downgrade. If you can afford it, try to get a gtx 670 or 760 when it comes out. Otherwise I'd look at getting a reputable 7950. (they vary A LOT, some perform worse than a 660 ti and some as good or better than a 670)

CPU: 5930K @ 4.5GHz | GPU: Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme edition @ 1503MHz/7400MHz | RAM: 16GB Corsair Dom Plat @ 2667MHz CAS 13 | Motherboard: Asus X99 Sabertooth | Boot Drive: 400GB Intel 750 Series NVMe SSD | PSU: Corsair HX1000i | Monitor: Dell U2713HM 1440p monitor

It looks pretty sweet now, but I'm not a fan of HIS's coolers, but that's up to you.

I'd rather get a Gigabyte, XFX or sapphire card, but that's me.

Old shit no one cares about but me.
