So i just watched Linus video about the new define R5, he said that the front panel is made out of faux aluminum. If this is true, then what's the material of the front panel of the Define R4 (fake or real aluminum)? did Fractal Design skimp on this part? :huh:

It's also faux aluminium. It's some kind of plastic that makes it look like brushed metal. It looks gorgeous in person.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I think the use of plastic was in order to avoid the grease staining that comes with using aluminum. 

 

These websites say that the R4 also uses plastic for the front.
