My system is :

AMD FX 8320 at 4.2 Ghz

ASRock Fatality 990FX Killer Motherboard

Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 Overclocked

650 Watts PSU

1 TB HDD

I got COD Advanced Warfare today and I pretty much cranked everything to ultra and after plahing I found severe frame drops and I found some Shadow Maps loading caps my VRAM. I then turned them off and that was the optimal setting in Geforce Experience too. Now I still suffer from frame drops. Temps are okay. While playing there are no drops but in game cutscenes for example wh3n we breach a door the frame rate goes from 80s to 30s. Sometimes the HDD Activity is at Full Load but sometimes it is not. Some missions have a number of these cutscenes and this drives me crazy. Any solutions ?

Advice: TURN ON VSYNC FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Like seriously. It helps so much, I cannot express how much it helped smooth out my frame rate.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

How much VRAM do you have?

2 GB or 2048 MB. In game usage around 1998-2020 MB. Far Cry also runs like that but no issues.

If you're using V-Sync, then disable triple buffering and see if that helps.

VSync is off.
