avast help!

ever since i installed avast on my computer i get this on chrome 

net err cert date invalid

but if i disable it, it goes away, but it comes back when i enable it!

it doesnt let me use google!

anybody know hoe to fix this

What did you install when you installed Avast? In other words, did you do a custom installation or express?

Did you try updating Avast's definitions and such (that's what it's called in MSE, don't know about Avast.)

Avast... its pretty unstable.  With the recent Windows Update Avast caused BSODs.  And now this.  Is it an error like an actual error? Or does the page say the page transmission is insecure, if thats the case its a matter of installing the Avast certificate. 

 

But yeah, just try install the Avast digital certificate into chrome.

What windows are you using? if youre using windows 8.1 uninstall avast immediately.

They still dont know any solution on why avast is not working properly with win 8.1
