A budget build with a surprise

barsnbolts

I'm helping to build my friends first ever PC and his budget is $1000. It would be solely for gaming and I am in Canada. The video card is already taken care of, he's done a lot for me so I'm picking him up a gigabyte 970 G1. That being said if anyone would be willing to help me out picking out a build (Without peripherals) and recommending peripherals, that would be amazing. Also will be overclocking this.

Great build, however, I'd just make one modification which is to the PSU. I know you

probably did it to keep down the price down, but I thought I'd show you anyway. :)

Why not 1440p @120hz hz? Also go the first build, get the EVGA G2 750W PSU one build used it, i think the last one. It is one of the best PSU's, while being fully modular and at a fantastic price point.
