So I am getting an r9 280 soon, and I was wondering what your recommendations would be on the brand.  Specifically I am looking for best cooling and don't care too much about noise.  I like Sapphire (oh god that blue pcb though), msi, and gigabyte's design, and XFX is way too expensive.  However, gigabyte's model seems to have pretty meh reviews so I shall leave it up to the people who have a lot more experience than me in this field to give me recommendations.  Thanks!

For amd, go saphhire.

For nvidia, go evga if you plan to watercool, go gigabye if you want the best pure performace, and go asus/msi for silence. These only apply for 900 series

970 is around $350 and 280 is $200.  Also 3 free games (although I would take fc4 over any older title)
