Posted November 24, 2014 Is there any other location I can mount my hard drive in my case (Corsair obsidian 750d). I would prefer the bottom hard drive trays are not there as it blocks some air flow. Let me know if you have any suggestions, thanks. Posted November 24, 2014 You could mount it on the bottom, but that would need some drilling and use of hard drive rubber mounts, to counter the vibrations. Posted November 24, 2014 That was what I was planning on doing but I feel the vibrations from like the hdd would be noticable. You'd be surprised. Some of the thicker velcro can pretty much absorb all of the vibrations. Spoiler Spoiler Project Depravity: £850 / ????? Posted November 24, 2014 I have two 7200RPM drives screwed to the bottom of my metal case. There is no insulation or rubber just screwed straight into the metal. note: the case is in my bedroom and always on 24/7. I can sleep soundly with practically no noise except fans coming from the case CPU: Intel core i5-3570k / Motherboard: MSI Z77 MPOWER / GPU: MSI GTX 660 Ti PE x2 in SLI / Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB / Power supply: Seasonic x750 with individually sleeved cables / Case: Cooler Master Storm Stryker / Cooling: H100i / Storage: 256GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD and 1TB Western Digital HDD
 Posted November 24, 2014 The 5.25" bays, you can buy some adapters or make some with elastic cord (Bungie cord?). Dunno how to do that last one though.
