What is the best mid-tower case for under $40? White cases are best but not required; it just needs to be pretty simplistic. The nzxt source 210 white looks great, the only slight drawback is that it just has one fan hat comes with it. Are there any better options? Thanks.

Now , if only the NZXT S340 was under $40 USD it'd be a great option.

But still, for just $30 USD more you get a much better quality case. ;)

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

it is also around double the budget, if I could spend however much I wanted, i would go caselabs.

200R has great cooling and a decent internal layout. It looks kinda ugly but hey, it works.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Enermax Ostrog op

I personally don't really like the look of it, I prefer angular design but that is all rounded.

Ah yeah, just was saying though, if you could spend more the S340 is a good budget case.

Just out of curiosity, which particular CaseLabs case would you go for?

My budget is very tight so I can't go above $50 at the very max.

I would go with the magnum sma8.

So far I think that the best option is getting an nzxt source 210 and then adding 1-2 fans.

I think Source 210 and adding 1-2 *good* fans. Corsair Air Quiets or some Noctua fans. Cheap fans are loud/inefficient/short-lasting/other reasons.

Those are too expensive, I was thinking BitFenix Spectre pros, my personal favorite fans (besides some noctuas for non-visible rads). if I add two to the back top I can see the light and they will also perform great.

Spectres aren't bad, though they won't be super quiet BTW
