Will this bottleneck (again)

So yesterday i asked about my cpu bottlenecking a 270x but will it bottleneck a 280(i found a 280 on the same price as a 270x) my cpu is a 4130fx oc 4 ghz and what power supply will i need 600 w enough?

CPU is a huge issue, and if you go intel with say an i3.. you will only need a decent 450-500 watt PSU.

It depends on the game. In BF4 it will probably bottleneck but CPU lighter games will most likely not be bottlenecked.Also for that a 430W PSU is enough but if you want room for expansion than get an Antec Eco 520W or Corsair CS550M.

@Archangel1994 the lighter game probs don't need the 280x anyway. Yeah, maybe Tomb Raider or something...

I was referring to CPU lighter but GPU heavier games. Hell, even WITHIN battlefield 4 there can be a massive fps variance. For instance my CPU is not the strongest at all. On Zavod 311 I can get 100 fps average but in Siege of Shanghai? Forget it. That map is so much more CPU intensive.

Ever thought of upgrading to the 2500k? it is worth while, here is what mine can do at 5ghz on that map with a heavily overclocked GTX 480.
