cheap sound proof foam?

good day fellow LTT forum members. i upload a lot highly edited and energetic videos to YouTube. unfortunately the family members i share the same roof with do not appreciated how loud i can be when recording. so i have decided to look into sound proof foam how ever i have noticed how expensive they can be. on amazon a 12 pack of acoustic foam matts is $32 + about $7-$8 in shipping costs. is this the standard price for this kind of product or are there some online stores that sell acoustic foam for less?
