Hi there. I'm upgrading a PC with a Gigabyte GTX 780 . I've sorted out everything, but i'm unsure if this PSU will cut it. I know 650 is ok if the PSU is of a good quality, but i'm not sure if this PSU is good.

Gigabyte GTX 780 Winforce 450w: http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4621#ov

FSP Aurum S 650w:                          https://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=615695

If you have the time and wish to be a little more in depth by having a look at the full build, then thanks! (http://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/thorpj/saved/cn6KHx)

But really, it's a pretty typical build. Theres no 9590 around here!

Thanks in advance

Hmm, never heard of it. Maybe get a Coolermaster V650 instead?

Also, why 16GB of RAM? Why the WD Re drives?

Why 780????

Hi there.

The situation is, i've purchased both before. It's for a friend, so there won't be any changes to the build, unless this power supply isn't going to cut it, in which case i will go and purchase another PSU.

thanks

This is an upgrade - replacing GPU (second hand), Case, fans and PSU
