Which Brand

Go to solution Solved by panayiotis,

i will get the MSI

Thanks guys for the help

Are you going for red themed cards+ red build?

If not I'd say look into the evga acx 770 or even the black galaxy 770.

I hear weird crap about DirectCU2 cards bending a lot, because they're so heavy.  Not sure about MSI but I know MSI makes very well built cards.

yeah the main objects are good quality, good performance and matching colours.

Alright, I'd say honestly anything will work, get your favorite looking card, or go look at temperature benchmarks, ask some people about Direct Cu 2 because I've seen tons of them bending in cases from the weight of them. Maybe the newer cards are lighter but I'd steer clear if the risk of it bending/breaking is there.

Edit: I'll see if I can find temps for you

I have a triple slot gtx 680 DCII and that's complete bullshit. As long as you screw in PCI slot screws properly, DCII cards will have their reinforcing bracket hold up even the triple slot card I have. They're also dead silent.

OP, get either the DCII 770 or a MSI one. If you're going to watercool, it's going to be easier to get waterblocks for reference cards.

I'm not trying to start drama, I've just seen lots of pictures of them bending, there's one on these forums in the graphics card section somewhere and the things sloping like a good inch lol

I wanted to inform him as best as I could

It doesn't matter really, they're all going to be roughly the same, so if you want to save 10-50$ get the cheapest you can find as long as it's a good brand: Asus/Galaxy/Evga/MSI/Gigabyte are all great brands.

Someone told me the gigabyte windforce is loud though, he didn't confirm just said he put one in a friends comp and it was noisey.
