yo guys!

I've been having difficulties with fitting the H100 in my corsair carbide 400R, it's fits but its in push configuration and the eight pin is tucked away behind the fan :/

im wanting to do pull but i wont fit both the radiator and the fans in the roof that way round because the radiator will block the 8-pin. so my only real option is mount the fans on the outside of the case, obviously im after some nice fan covers that'll fit my SP120's and having no luck what so ever, i would just mount them but i dont want to risk anything dropping in and killing a fan

But as a running topic have any of you done anything similar? not necessarily on the 400R but any case where you have the fans on the outside of the case in full view?

I sort of have my fans set up like this. They are not on the outside but they are exposed.

The fans should be fine if you drop something in them. The case fan grill should protect the radiator from any damage.

if you want a grill though, frozen cpu has some

Cheers man! yea mine are gonna be right on the top, i dont think covers are 100% needed in all honesty, thinking on it they'll probably make more noise haha its just the look of them, i saw a guy on another forum a while back that had round mess covers (same set up, my case, fans outside) and they looked really cool, ive searched the net high n low but starting to think he had them custom made :( ill try finding a pic of them
