Okay, so i'm planning to buy this case with my next huge X99 upgrade.

I'm wondering one thing about the bottom champer: If i but my 140mm 3 fans to the "front" side of the champer and use it as a intake (fan filter on offcourse) Can i still put my hard drive cages in there?

Cheers.

Only for airflow, no radiators what so ever to the bottom one.

I have a 900D so I can answer :D - I have 4 120mm's down there however I cannot have any hard drive bays located on the bottom half due to clearance issues between the cage and the fans.. I would assume this is the same ordeal with 140mm fans. You can relocate one of the three drive bays into the main chamber (What I did) and replace the front intakes with static pressure fans. You could use Silverstone Air Penetrator fans or other Static pressure fans to get air through the cage.

Why they wont put there big enough of a cap that i can put fans in there?

That's just stupid.

Okay now i have another question, what u guy think how i should do my fan placement or what fans should i buy?

Current parts that are going to be on the new rig:

Noctua NF A-14 PWM 5x

AX1200i

SSD and HDD

New parts:

900D

5820K

Asus Extreme V X99

NZXT kranken X61

Dominator platinium 16gb DDR4

(And the new upcoming 980ti or whatever nvidia conna calll it)

2 of those noctuas will go to the radiator to the roof as plowing air out of the case

1 is going to the back as plowing air out of the case

But according to what i know, the 900D only supports 2x 140mm or 3x 120mm in the front, and 4x 120mm or 3x 140mm in the bottom champer.

Offcourse i'm trying to build a scenario where there is possitive air-preassure. So more intake is _must_ if you consider how many holes there are in this case. Also if possible, keep it at noctua ;) I actually like the unique color and the overall performance.

Thanks a lot!

In future, yes. Not exactly as of right now but currently about once a year i do one "major upgrade" and in this upgrade i'm going to upgrade the case that it can last me a long time.

In about a year i'm planning to do full custom-watercooling rig. As of right now, my wallet is not really ready to take that massive assrape.

E: also what i have read, 900D isn't exactly bad for aircooling only. It's just expensive and huge. And that's neither the price or the size isn't a problem right now.
